1. General Policy
All services offered by PowerUp City are digital in nature (directory listings, advertising, promotions, subscriptions, and online event ticketing). Once purchased, services are non-tangible and considered delivered. Therefore, refunds are limited and granted only under specific conditions described below.
2. Advertising & Directory Listings
Non-Refundable: Payments for digital advertising services (banners, sponsored content, promotions, directory listings) are non-refundable once the campaign or listing has gone live.
Cancellations Before Launch: If a cancellation request is received before a campaign or listing is published, PowerUp City may issue a credit note for future use.
Technical Errors: If an advertisement fails to appear due to a technical issue on our side, a re-run or credit will be provided.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions (monthly or annual) are non-refundable once payment is processed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time to avoid renewal charges. Cancellation must be done before the next billing cycle.
No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription periods.
4. Event Ticketing
Responsibility of Organizers: PowerUp City acts only as a ticketing platform. The responsibility for event execution lies with the organizer.
Non-Refundable Tickets: All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by the event organizer.
Event Cancellation: If an event is cancelled by the organizer, refunds (if applicable) will be processed by the organizer, not PowerUp City.
Event Postponement/Changes: If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets remain valid. Refund eligibility depends on the organizer’s policy.
Service Fees: Platform fees, processing charges, and convenience fees are non-refundable, even if the organizer approves a ticket refund.
5. Refund Requests & Processing
Refund requests must be sent in writing to support@powerup.bh.
Where applicable, approved refunds may take up to 14 business days to process.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
6. Exceptions
Refunds or credits may be issued at PowerUp City’s sole discretion in exceptional cases, such as:
Duplicate payments.
Proven technical errors resulting in service failure.
Legal or regulatory obligations requiring refund.
7. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Bahraini courts.
